Social health as a criterion for evaluating people's capability in social activities is influenced by media literacy. The present research study, analyzed the relationship between social health of adolescent girls between 15 to 19 years old living in Mashhad and their media literacy. The research was conducted applying Keys Social Health Standard Questionnaire as well as a Researcher-Made Questionnaire, the reliability of which was assessed by Cronbach's Alpha and validity of formally confirmed method. The statistical population included 103,299 people from which the sample size was determined based on Cochran's formula involving 383 people. Also, sampling was conducted according to multi-stage random sampling method. Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient indicated a direct and significant relationship between media literacy and social health dimensions in this study. That is, the higher the media literacy, the higher the social health. Therefore, the main hypothesis of the research was confirmed. Regression analysis shows that 14.5% of social health changes are due to changes in media literacy and the rest are influenced by other factors.
