The quarterly journal “Gender and Family Studies,” published by the Women’s and Family Research Institute, has been granted the rank of “Scientific-Research” based on the single article approved on June 11, 2008, by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and according to letter No. 13163 dated February 8, 2016, and resolution No. 144 dated January 11, 2016, by the Council for Granting Scientific Licenses and Qualifications associated with the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary. According to the announcement dated October 18, 2016, by the National Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the international standard for the scientific-research quarterly journal “Gender and Family Studies” has been registered with the National Shapa Center (ISSN) under the number 1938-2538. The publication license of this journal changed from a “biannual” to a “quarterly” format as of January 28, 2024. This journal is fully accessible via the Islamic World Citation Database (ISC) at isc.gov.ir. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process for manuscript evaluation, and all submitted articles are checked for originality using the Hametajoo similarity detection software. Following that, they are carefully evaluated by qualified and experienced reviewers. The “Gender and Family Studies” journal is an open-access journal (with access to the full text of articles) that welcomes research papers on issues related to women and family from an Islamic perspective. The fee for review, processing, and publication of an article is 3,000,000 rials, which will be collected from the authors upon acceptance of the article. The results of the initial review will be communicated to the authors within two weeks, and the results of the evaluation will be announced within a maximum of two months.
