This research was done in Qom University with the purpose of investigating the gender differences related to the love of god with the emphasis on the role of self identity. In this study, 370 students (male, 190 and female, 180) were selected through the clustered sampling. The sample answered the tests of self identity (EOM-EIS-2) and love of god (ATG-37) and the data was analyzed through the matched t-test and multiple regressions. The girls’ higher scores in relation to the safe and bilateral love and the boys’ higher scores in regard with the evitable love showed the meaningful difference between male and female in this regard. Therefore, no meaningful difference was observed between them in relation to the distribution of four kinds of identities. The results clarified that the gender of test takers is considered as a meaningful predictor for the three kinds of love of god. However, there are two developed and diffuse-avoidant identities with meaningful beta in the prediction of safe and evitable love in the base of identity and by the effect of gender and identity in regression equation, it is observed that the beta of developed identity has decreased and it is not meaningful any more while the beta of diffuse-avoidant identity has decreased and it is constantly meaningful. In bilateral love of god, just one diffuse-avoidant identity is of meaningful beta and by the effect of gender and identity in regression equation, it is observed that the beta of diffuse-avoidant identity has decreased and it is not meaningful any longer. Therefore, it is concluded that the gender and identity are two predicting variables related to the love of god and identity is of meaningful role in the relationship between gender and love of god.

The investigation of the effect of translator’s gender in the discourse of target text is considered as one of the most important grounds of translation studies and its link with the study of discourse while it has been paid less attention by those who work from Arabic to Persian and vice versa. Hence, the present study relying on Norman Fairclough’s approach of discourse analysis and his theory under the title of triple values aims to achieve a kind of analysis of the representation of gender discourse in the lexicons of translation of the Holy Quran by Tahereh Saffarzadeh. According to the findings of this research, the gender of translator is effective on his translational preferences in the lexical level and they are classified in three groups of finding the equivalence, the explanations in parenthesis which are of experiential value, the relational value and best of all the explanatory value.

In the process of identity development, the numerous external structures such as family are of effective role as well as the personality traits of persons. The purpose of this research is studying the role of sister and brother relationship in regard with the process of teenagers’ identity development. The research method was correlational and the multiple- variable regression model was utilized in order to determine the amount of importance of procedural and structural variables. The statistical population was 448 high school students selected among the boys and girls in Qom city through the clustered sampling. The data was collected through two instruments of the objective measurement of self identity (EOM-EIS) and indexes of sister and brother relationships (IBR-ISR). The findings of research illustrated that the procedural and some structural variables (including the number of sisters, siblings’ age difference and birth order) is a meaningful predictor in diffuse-avoidant and developed identity of teenagers who have sister, in diffuse-avoidant identity of teenagers who have brother and in the diffuse-avoidant, early developed identity of teenagers who have sister and brother. The result is that one of the family related elements effective on the process of teenagers’ identity development could be attributed to the relationship between sister and brother. Both procedural and structural variables are able to predict some of the foundations of identity in teenage period. Of course, the role of procedural variables is more than that of the structural ones.

The decreased tendency towards child bearing is considered as one of the threatening elements for family foundation. Some researchers attribute the reason of this issue to the economic elements and some others relate it to the cultural elements. The present research investigated this problem by considering the role of cultural elements. The research method was survey and the instrument for collecting data was questionnaire which was answered by 384, 15 - 49 year- old women in Hamadan. They were selected through the clustered sampling and the data was analyzed via SPSS 22 software. The results clarified that there is a significant relationship between the scores belonging to the cultural values and the tendency towards child bearing with 99 percent confidence interval and the individualistic value variable had the strongest relationship (0.658) with the dependent variable. The linear regression analysis showed that the individualistic value variables such as the religious beliefs towards child bearing as well as the viewpoints of women towards the functions of family stated 64.5 percent of changes in the dependent variable. Moreover, and the individualistic value variable and the income of family had the most and the least strength of clarification respectively. Accordingly, the cultural action related to the propagation of religious instructions towards child bearing and the individualist consequences can be helpful in this regard.

The present research studied the reasons of the girls’ marriage delay based on their own viewpoints with the qualitative approach and taking advantage of the descriptive phenomenological method. The data of research was collected through the semi-structured interview with twenty single girls whose age ranged from 18 to 55 years old and selected through the purposive sampling. The interviews were thematically classified and interpreted. The results of research clarified that the marriage delay is affected by the numerous individual reasons. At micro level, it is referred to the issues such as the disincentive beliefs, not finding an ideal person, the appearance properties, the pessimism and the lack of trust, the fatalism, as well as the family issues. At the intermediate level, it is included the elements such as the idealism of the family, putting emphasis on getting married to the relatives, problems such as one-parent-family and poverty of family as well as the structural reasons. Moreover, the issues such as lack of balance in the population, the economic conditions, the cultural changes, the negative effects of media and the virtual world are categorized under the macro level. Against the previous results of researches, there were no idealistic and materialistic criteria in the girls’ viewpoints. In their view, the most important criteria of the appropriate person for marriage were the interest, similarity and mutual understanding. Moreover, marriage delay is mostly affected by the family conditions, the social and cultural elements more than the economic element which is mostly agreed upon among the researchers.
